To be holistic, means to be concerned with the whole or complete system rather than just one analysis, treatment, or dissection of the body. In the salon, I don't only focus on your hair, I widen my lens to the whole person in my chair and the entire experience, start to finish. Hair can be a healing experience and I strive to get as close to that as possible.
" In the professional beauty industry, the term “organic hair color” refers to hair color made with organic botanicals and less chemicals. Organic, in this sense, is the same definition we use for our organic food standards; botanicals grown without the use of pesticides.
When most people refer to “organic hair color” they’re referring to professional organic hair color brands formulated with least amount of synthetic chemicals and the maximum amount of organic botanical ingredients.
At this time, professional “organic hair color” is not 100% organic. It must contain a certain percentage of synthetic ingredients to work consistently and effectively. But that doesn’t mean you can’t find a color line that uses the maximum amount of organic ingredients and the least amount of chemicals. " - Simply Organic
As a holistic hairdresser, I create an overall wellness experience. I create customized treatments to help both you and your hair look and feel better. I have incorporated energy work, aromatherapy, and rejuvenating scalp treatments to help stimulate and cleans energy and create space for a lighter and brighter you.
Energy healing is based on the understanding that the human energy field is a dynamic system of powerful influences, in a unique relationship to physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Energy work helps to facilitate healing and re-aligns the energies of the body. Some modalities such as Reiki, are done while working within the client's personal aura and very little body contact is made. Even without much contact, energy work can have a powerful effect on the individual. Sensations may include warmth, tingling, and a lightening up or total relaxation.
Pronounced ray-key, this Japanese technique is an alternative therapy in which practitioners place their hands lightly on or just above a person in order to rid the body of blockages and improve their energy flow. It’s kind of like a massage without touch.
Reiki helps to remove blockages so that energy can flow more smoothly throughout the body's system (similar to acupuncture). The idea is that by improving your energy flow, you’ll feel more relaxed, experience less pain, and boost your well-being.

Tipping, while practiced around the world, assumes a unique role in America. One to which most diners are obliged because the United States is one of the only countries that allows businesses to offload the burden of paying workers a fair wage to their customers. And though construed as a fair way to encourage hospitality and reward good service, tipping’s roots are in racialized exploitation. Data shows that it continues to be, at its core, racist, sexist, and degrading.
Rather than perpetuate the outdated, toxic practice of tipping, I have chosen to charge what I am worth and call it a day. I charge a flat rate and give high-quality service no matter what. Tipping is out of style!
I accept cash and all major credit cards. You will receive an invoice at the end of your service which you can pay from your phone or at our concierge desk.
***I do not accept checks.
